Bulldogs

The Bulldogs is a team in the NRL. They really work hard .But they have just lost one of there best players called Sonny Bill Williams.He was a good player he was good at running pretty fast and he was solid.He put on one of the best hits in leauge.
They had Two other good players called Ben Roberts and Matt utai one of them are good at kicking , steping and playmacking.The other one is fast and good at jumping.

Swiming

Look at me and my freinds we are really good at swimming.But we could fix some gaps up. But we try our best here are some highlights i hope you enjoy it . We swam at YMCA in auckland New Zealands In Gi.

The Kiwis Or Australia who will win the world cup the will it be the world champs or the 2ND best team in the rugby world cup. If i were you i will go for the giant kiwis they have skills and they get better and better.They have just beaten a very good team and they are called England.Also they have a good player called Issac Luke and he is a really good at running tackling and catching and he is O.K at play maker.

Yes were of to the final but wait were gonna vs the best team in the world cup they are going to defend it against us and they are Australia.How we got into the final we beat England 22-32 This was the line up.

This what happened England kicked of the ball and Lance Hohaia
catches the ball then he passed it to Simon Mannnering and he had the first run and he gets tackled 15 Min's later the kiwis get a try from Benji Marshall to Sam Perrett .Then the Conversion done Jerermy Smith and he gets it.Now the score is 6-0.Just about 5 mins later the kiwis are 5 Metres away from the try line Now it was Thomas Leuluai time to shine he dummies a pass then passes it to Lance Hohaia then he dives and he gets a try.They kick it of and the kiwi team gets it and it was a good run and they are fifty metres away from the try line 10 mins later they are just 1 metre away they pass it to Jerome Ropati runs it hard and he gets a brillant try but the conversion is miss.

But the Conversion is missed so its 10-0.Next England kicks it of and they get the ball and he run it but got tackled. Now they are really close so Peacock runs in like a bulldozer and he gets a great try.They miss the conversion.Seconds until half time and England gets a try from a little kick and they get the conversion so it is 10-16.

It was a close game if you want to know what happend arfter that wacth it a nd by the way !GO THE KIWIS !

A Smart person called Joshua Klein

Have you heard of Joshua Klein? He is a very intelligent person and he is an amateur researcher who researches crows. He is trying to tell people that you can train crows. Some people think he is crazy but he is not.


Where did he get this idea? He got it from his friends' BBQ. A crow was near by and it was being a pest then his Friend got up and said "I have had enough I am going to EXTERMINATE IT!"   Just before he got up Joshua said stop "Don't do that we can train them." Then his Friend said "are you crazy?"  Then Joshua said "watch me".

For the next ten years he studied about crows. Next he built a vending machine. A vending machine is when you put something in and you get something out.The first step is to put the vending machine out where lots of crows are. Now you get lots of peanuts and coins so they can just come and get a peanut. That will be simple for a crow this will have been Paradise. The next step was to get coins and they will have to put the coin in the slot if they want to have a peanut. Then the crows got used to it. Now they had a sound so when they hear it they came
to get some peanuts. The final step was to just have a coin lying on the floor.  Now the crow was pretty angry and it knew that the machine was messing with them so it picked the coin up put it in the slot and flew away happily with a peanut.

Then they had another experiment to see if the crow could get the meat out of the tube. It was having a little bit of trouble it did not even look like it was going to give up. It stopped and then it bent the wire had another try again then it got it! Then it munched all the meat up.

And the Yr5 and 6 extension group at Pt England School gave him advice. It was called the bar key

 B=BIGGER A=ADD R=REPLACE and that's it. 

Also we gave him some ideas like have a school for the crows. Also we said get some flavoured peanuts for the crows and see which one they prefer.

Nadia Comaneci

Nadia Comaneci was a very good gymnast person. Do you know that she was the first ever person to get a one.If you do not know what a 1 means a 10 out of 10.But they couldn't fit the 10 on the score board.So she is really good Isn't she.Also she was pretty young she was only 14 when she got a 10.Nadia Comaneci was born in onestia in a factory town in romania in 1961.In 1976 she won lots of medas 1 silver 1 bronze and 3 gold medals.

The Point England Way

I go to Pt England I am a year 5 I am in Room 15. We are learning about the Pt England Way it is all about caring. Our symbol is Captian Jack Sparrow. We call him Captain Caring. He is on The Pirates of the Caribbean. We are learning about the 3Ps it helps us to happy, safe and successful. Also we are learning about the Treaty of Waitangi. The Treaty of Waitangi is when the Maori and the Pakeha came together to sign something to stop them fighting. The 3 P's come from the Treaty of Waitangi.
