Market day is here

“!!Get your gift boxes get your gift boxes!!” Market day was finally here,our group made gift boxes with lollies and chocolate. We sold our gift boxes for two dollars.

In came the first lot of people stalking our store until we had our first customer she asked “how much do these cost?”ummm $2.00” I said Then she said” oh I will go get my money” I knew that she just wanted to go to another store.

So I told Moses if we could lower the price and he paused for about three seconds then he said “OK I will change it to one dollar “. Next thing you customers coming in from left right and center .Until we were sold out .

Market day was fun my favourite part was selling my product to the customers. In total we made over $18.00.

Our teacher set a task.You got given a word to explain what it meant. My word was kingdom.

!!!Athletics is here!!!

123 bang!!! “1st place” said Mr J , I was so happy with myself (even though i was the first person to throw ). More and more people took their turn I was going down more positions until I got knocked out of the top three .Discus was the first activity we did.

The School Athletics had finally come there are 4 teams, Takitimu,Matatua,Tanui and Te arawa. The team I was in was Takitimu. The school Athletics take place for the whole day I was excited to do no work for the day!

Our second activity was softball throw I was pumped up . Again I was the first person up. I got me a ball 3 steps back ran up to the line “Yahh”, I threw the ball passed the last cone. I was so happy I was in the top three for only a little period of time. At the end of the activity I will say I came 5th overall.


My favourite event was the high jump,last year I came 2nd and made it to the interzone . This year I was hoping I could come 2nd again or maybe even first.It was time for my first jump I was so nervous I had butterflies I didn't want to bail my first jump. I ran up to the plate I jumped “slam” I landed on the mat I looked up luckily the bar was still on. I made it to the finals I was excited I went first i jumped “!!!bang!!!” I knocked the pole down I was so devastated.

Athletics was a good day I was'nt happy with myself I think I could have done better in high jump. But there is always next year.I think Takitimu won.

Netbooks

I have never been so excited to do be at school. Our school is the first school in our Tamaki zone to work using Net books. I love working on our new Net books. We are so lucky to be the first school in the cluster to work as true 21st century learners. I'm am so greatfull.

Inside The Earth

Graphics is amazing!!! This term I have been learning to draw. We have been using Adobe Illustrator to draw our fantastic designs. I have drawn the Mantle, Core and Crust. We use the shaped tool and the pencil to draw our designs. I have also Drawn a really good volcano design. I have enjoyed being in graphics.

Ny Favourite Nrl Teams

My favourite Nrl Teams are Eels and the Warriors. I like the Warriors because it is the only new Zealand team in the Nrl. Also they made a big comeback they were no where near the top eight but now they are in fifth position. They have just beaten the best team in the competition.
The reason why eels is one of my favourite team is because My favourite player plays for that team. His name is Jarryd Hayne. His nick name is the Hayne Train. Even Andrew Johns (the best player of all time)
said that he was the best player he had ever seen. Also I like the Eels is because they are electrifying to watch. So those are my favourite teams.
