Market day is here

“!!Get your gift boxes get your gift boxes!!” Market day was finally here,our group made gift boxes with lollies and chocolate. We sold our gift boxes for two dollars.

In came the first lot of people stalking our store until we had our first customer she asked “how much do these cost?”ummm $2.00” I said Then she said” oh I will go get my money” I knew that she just wanted to go to another store.

So I told Moses if we could lower the price and he paused for about three seconds then he said “OK I will change it to one dollar “. Next thing you customers coming in from left right and center .Until we were sold out .

Market day was fun my favourite part was selling my product to the customers. In total we made over $18.00.

!!!Athletics is here!!!

123 bang!!! “1st place” said Mr J , I was so happy with myself (even though i was the first person to throw ). More and more people took their turn I was going down more positions until I got knocked out of the top three .Discus was the first activity we did.

The School Athletics had finally come there are 4 teams, Takitimu,Matatua,Tanui and Te arawa. The team I was in was Takitimu. The school Athletics take place for the whole day I was excited to do no work for the day!

Our second activity was softball throw I was pumped up . Again I was the first person up. I got me a ball 3 steps back ran up to the line “Yahh”, I threw the ball passed the last cone. I was so happy I was in the top three for only a little period of time. At the end of the activity I will say I came 5th overall.


My favourite event was the high jump,last year I came 2nd and made it to the interzone . This year I was hoping I could come 2nd again or maybe even first.It was time for my first jump I was so nervous I had butterflies I didn't want to bail my first jump. I ran up to the plate I jumped “slam” I landed on the mat I looked up luckily the bar was still on. I made it to the finals I was excited I went first i jumped “!!!bang!!!” I knocked the pole down I was so devastated.

Athletics was a good day I was'nt happy with myself I think I could have done better in high jump. But there is always next year.I think Takitimu won.

Netbooks

I have never been so excited to do be at school. Our school is the first school in our Tamaki zone to work using Net books. I love working on our new Net books. We are so lucky to be the first school in the cluster to work as true 21st century learners. I'm am so greatfull.

Inside The Earth

Graphics is amazing!!! This term I have been learning to draw. We have been using Adobe Illustrator to draw our fantastic designs. I have drawn the Mantle, Core and Crust. We use the shaped tool and the pencil to draw our designs. I have also Drawn a really good volcano design. I have enjoyed being in graphics.

Ny Favourite Nrl Teams

My favourite Nrl Teams are Eels and the Warriors. I like the Warriors because it is the only new Zealand team in the Nrl. Also they made a big comeback they were no where near the top eight but now they are in fifth position. They have just beaten the best team in the competition.
The reason why eels is one of my favourite team is because My favourite player plays for that team. His name is Jarryd Hayne. His nick name is the Hayne Train. Even Andrew Johns (the best player of all time)
said that he was the best player he had ever seen. Also I like the Eels is because they are electrifying to watch. So those are my favourite teams.

Kevin Locke

Kevin Locke is 21 years of age an he has already played 24 NRL games. On his last game he just played against the Roosters He scored three tries.

On his first try James Malony kicked the ball from half way. The ball was going to go past the dead ball line so every one started to jog to the ball but not Kevin Locke, he ran all the way. Like the ball was gold and he dived on the ball. On his last try of the game the when the warriors were losing he got a try. When he got that try he bruised his hips.

Personal Shield Reflection

I am not proud of what I have done on my personal Shield. I think that I should have worked faster, I always mucked around. The only thing I am proud of is my planning. It was really good it gave all I needed to do was copy it on to the paper.

If I could change one thing it would be to change my shape of my background.

Rangitoto is the highest and youngest volcano in the Auckland volcanic field . Also it is probably the most well known volcano in Auckland. It is believed to be the most violent eruption that has ever happened in the Auckland volcanic field. I hope you enjoy this movie.

Another Famous Victory

One Hundred years of Maori rugby finishing in style with a win over England who have already beaten Australia. At full time the score was 35 -28 to the New Zealand Maoris it was a nail biting game it was the Maori who came out on top. If you read my other post about the game I predicted that England would win. I guest I underestimated the home side. If I could choose man of the match it would have been Hosea Gear. That game Ended the Maoris season ,here are the results of their previous matches. Maoris 38-31 vs Barbarians ,31 28 vs Ireland.

New Zealand Maori vs England

Tonight there is a rugby game between New Zealand Maori and England. New Zealand Maori have had a good season winning 2 out of 2 games . They are in good form they had a famous victory over Ireland and barbarians.
England on the other hand have had a pretty good season too. With a loss over the Kangaroos and having one of their best performances in two years to pull of a good win over the kangaroos . I think that England will win because they will dominate the breakdown and the scrum but I still think it would be a good game don't miss the game.

Mt Wellington Vs New Lyn Stags

On Saturday I had a league game against the New Lynn Stags. Our team was bigger than them but we were not going to go easy because they had a player who was good at defending and has knowledge about how this game is played.
Bang my team kicked the ball, the opposition claimed it and ran like there was no tomorrow. His face was scrunched up like he just ate something sour. But then one of our best tacklers jumped on him and slammed him on the ground.
The first try came from our talented centre Troy who broke threw the line and scored in the corner. Our second try came from Charm who had three people on him and still managed to get away, it looked like they blacked out because they just fell off.
At half time the score was 30 nil to the Mount Wellington Warriors.When the Stags kicked the ball off one of our best forwards got the ball and he ran 10 metres. Next was his brother Suey he ran 90 metres to score the next try. Our next set our our captain Tevita passed the ball to our fullback who managed to get an off load to our centre who passed it back to our captain who scored.
The last try came from Rhys who had his first game back from a holiday.
I had a good day with the boot because I slotted five goals.
At full time the score was 54-0.
